MSNBC GOES AFTER HALEY BARBOUR

This evening MSNBC's Rachel Maddow had an interesting segment on Gov Haley Barbour.... something about how Haley is attempting to re-write history according to his own experience in Mississippi as a student........... you know... the Haley who went to high school (Yazoo City) and college (Ole Miss) back in the 60s with all the black students in his midst..........

14th AMENDMENT

Hokay... this one is for all you history buffs and self-declared Constitutional Scholars........... and anyone else is invited to comment as well.........

Has anyone actually read the 14th Amendment???????
Does anyone know how this Amendment came into being?????????
Has anyone ever read the Reconstruction Act???
You'll need to understand the Reconstruction Act in order to feel the full brunt of the 14th Amendment......




A bit of history to get everyone started and I shall provide a copyrighted partial quote of which I take no credit........................
"On March 2, 1867, Congress passed the Reconstruction Act. This act abolished civil government in the southern states. It divided the South into five military districts with a commander of the rank of brigadier general or higher in each district. The army re-invaded the South, abolished all semblance of civil government, and set up military rule............"

Take note of Section 3 of the 14th Amendment which deals with ex post facto law... which of course are specifically forbidden in Article 1, Section 9, of the Constitution.....................................

Hokay. I'll admit to being old fashioned and out of the loop. All that aside....................

What the Hell is this 'spice' stuff???? It's supposed to be some sort of marijuana type substitute, correct??? And some folks in Lee County want it banned, correct????

Apparently, it's some sort of dried out plant that teenagers are smoking so they can get high or something????

Does anyone know the botanical name of it????????? Does this substance have any medicinal value????
